What's the upper limit you guys would suggest for amount of time to keep disconnected nodes? We have about 150 disconnects from pods rolling a day, is there a lot of stored data per node?

The data is stored on the leader in the state directory. It's minimal (few KB per node) in the grand scheme of hundreds of GB of storage that systems typically get allocated. Persistence duration will be dependent on how important that data is to your operations. Do you need it? If not then minimize how long it sticks around.
