Are there any restrictions on the free Cribl license?

Our current license is at 5 TB quota, and we ingest only 337 GBs/day. In the learning material of Cribl University, I saw a reference to a free license of up to 1 TB without distributed administration to the workers, is it possible for us to move from our current 5 TBs license to a free one?

Hey there! There are a few restrictions with free. If you’re on standard now, then you currently have support, notification capabilities, and git backup (more info http://cribl.io/pricing/plan/#pricing-plan-comparison-which-version-is-right-for-you). If you have enterprise, you have *all* the bells and whistles that go along with Cribl. Free will function for basic things, but a lot of the enhanced features are disabled.

The main limitations are the lack of functionality that would useful in an Enterprise environment, things like SSO/SAML/LDAP authentication, remote Git repo, persistent queueing, etc…. Limited to 1 worker group and 10 worker processes, 1 fleet and 100 edge nodes
