Is Cribl search available for on-prem yet?

No, but if you write to S3, nothing stops you from testing it with Cribl.cloud.

That makes sense and I've played with it in Cribl.cloud, but I was hoping to discuss it with a client and they decided to not use Cribl.cloud. Is there an ETA for when it will be available for on-prem (AWS S3 still)?

At the moment we've targeted Search as a cloud-only product. We're interested to hear more about on-prem use cases, of course, because all business decisions are malleable. :slightly_smiling_face:

My "on-prem" is really an AWS hosted in locked down VPC, so not anything too far off the reservation.

workers are mostly non-AWS "on-prem" but pushing to real AWS S3

so search only on an AWS instance should be okay here

David Maislin

Your AWS instance != cribl.cloud

just clarifying that it wasn't some other S3-ish technology
