i have a rest feed that sends data to splunk on a daily basis. i’d like to also send that data to another destination but only once a week. I was thinking of using an output router, but is there a way to look at the day of week in the filter? Open to other suggestion on how to do this.

Only possible way I could think of is setting a day of the week in a field on the data that is coming in and then just doing a filter on that.
That or something like a Rest Collector to run once a week ( 0 0 0 ) for the job if the data can be collected that way
