I am a long time Cribl & Splunk user, I have been on this platform for almost 5+ years now, and I have made my share of stupid stupid mistakes but learnt a lot about both Cribl & Splunk. In my journey to build a more resilient Cribl + Splunk environment with the constraints I do have($$ + time), I am constantly trying to make things a bit better and I introduced a change in my Splunk UF deployment. I set up some routing entries in my output.conf so that all index=_internal traffic is shipped directly to the Splunk IDX. The thinking was this allowed me to monitor my SplunkUF's and get ahead of any problems the Cribl workers may have in processing the events that we really care for. what's an alternate input plugin for logs received from beats

Hello. We are trying to set up a postgres database connection using cyberark (on prem).How would we build the connection string? Cribl expects the following format: postgres[ql]://[userspec@][hostspec][/dbname][?paramspec]But this doesn't seem to include any vault managed database user account.

I am using Cribl to be able to send Palo Alto syslogs to a custom AUX table in Sentinel.I have configured the port for ingesting Syslog. The private IP address of the VM hosting Cribl is also set. Source is the syslog and the destination is the sentinel. Express route is taken to go to Routing and QuickConnect .The logs are forwarded from the PaloAlto firewall. But I am not able to filter them out in the AUX table in the sentinel. Although if I SSH into Cribl box and simulate some CEF over Syslog traffic with Logger, I am able to see it in the sentinel. Hey everyone,Currently, we have 200+ sources configured in Cribl Stream (Collectors / Push / Pull), collecting data from a wide variety of sources and forwarding it to different destinations such as Splunk, Exabeam, and S3.I’d like to extract a list of all configured sources (both enabled and disabled), along with their associated routes, pipelines, and destinations.Is there a way to achieve this within Cribl Stream?Thanks!
